Merry Belated Christmas!   Here's the rundown of my Christmas adventures: Christmas Eve Besides just normal missionary work, we had dinner with the Waites and got to be the wisemen for their reenactment of the nativity! Then Elder Yardley and I rode around their neighborhood and looked at all the Christmas lights. FYI their neighborhood is mega rich, like gated with guards rich, so the houses in there had some really cool lights/decorations. After that we went over to the Bulverde Elder's apartment and watched Mr. Kruegers Christmas and had a sleepover.  Christmas Day We woke up, opened presents, had breakfast, and then I got to talk to my family! After that we stopped by our friend Mary who was alone for Christmas and gave her treats and sang carols with our bishop's family. Then we went to their house to play games and then we had dinner with the Jensens! It's a new transfer with a new companion! I stayed in Summerglen Hills and Elder Yardley got transferred in! I flipping love him so maybe this 7 week transfer will be bearable after all. We both want to road trip around the US and visit all the national parks and we also have the same taste in music so he's Elder Christensen approved.  Oh and whoever told me it never gets cold here lied. Some mornings it's been in the 30s and I'm freezing my butt off. Especially while biking  We got a media referral from a lady named Maria saying she wanted to learn more about the Book of Mormon. We found out she actually lives in our apartment complex so we went and dropped a Book of Mormon off and she said she wants to come to church. Eithebfdifjrkerbeje what?! Hellooooo Double covering this past week has been pretty difficult cause we both have set schedules so we've had to cancel so many things. I'm getting a new companion on Thursday though so it'll be all back to normal soon.  We taught seminary on Wednesday so that was fun... besides the fact that we had to get up earlier than normal haha. I seriously have so much respect for seminary teachers though. Teaching a bunch of teenagers early in the morning 5 days a week is a mighty task.  We had a Christmas party as a mission and we watched How The Grinch Stole Christmas!! I would have never expected that President and Sister Tveten would play a movie for all of us but I'm so glad they did haha. It was so fun and they even encouraged us to sing along! Sister Tveten gave a spiritual thought about it and related it to missionary work so there was a purpose behind it, don't worry. They also got us all beanies with "TSAM" on it. Howdy y'all! This week was kinda slow but I have some big news... My companion is leaving for his original assignment to Thailand tomorrow. Surprise! So now I'll be in a trio with the Bulverde elders for a week or so!  So we were biking down the sidewalk the other day and we tried to talk to this elderly lady walking by and then she turns to us and says: "I don't like it when you bother people about your religions. You need to stop it!" It was actually pretty funny because she had an Asian accent and wagged her finger at us with so much attitude.  I thought this day would never come but I'm actually gaining weight lol. I have officially gained 10lbs since the start of my mission which means I'm on track to reach the TSAM 40! Our whole mission had a gingerbread house contest and my district definitely made the best one. Each district only had 45 minutes to complete the whole thing and I'm pretty dang proud of ours.  Oh!
