Week 22: Summerglen HILLS

I got to my new area (Summerglen Hills) on Thursday and it's beautiful out here! They weren't joking when they said hills though. God is really testing me by putting me in another biking area, but I am developing some amazing thunder thighs. So I guess it's not all bad.

We talked to this elderly man working on his car on Wednesday and he told us every time he sees us ride by on our bikes he feels God's love and it makes his day. Isn't that crazy?? Most of the time I feel like I'm not really making a difference but apparently just riding by on my bike has an impact on people.

We finally had a lesson with Paula and Cory on my last day in Culebra Creek! Cory was low-key bashy cause he read some anti material, but I think they have a lot of potential!

Okay so on my first day in Summerglen Hills we got 4 numbers! One guy was kinda bashy while also being pretty nice... it was weird. We also met this guy named David at the end of the day! It was pretty cool because we prayed right before we met him that we would know where to go. And then we felt like we should walk around this apartment and then there he was. What a miracle!! He said he talked to Sister missionaries when he lived in Corpus Christi and that he'd be interested in meeting with missionaries again!

This lady pulled up to us and asked if we were on our "adventure" haha. We were like, "uhhh... do you mean mission?" And then she told us that we shouldn't be soliciting in that neighborhood because people will get mad. So we told her we weren't soliciting and she went on her merry way.

Okay so the memebrs here are amazing. They're so so nice and they definitely make sure we're fed. Shout out to Sister Cross who fed us the best chicken pot pie I have ever had. What a blessing that woman is.

Love y'all! Have an amazing week!
